Do microwave kilns anneal beads?

i was looking for glass annealing kilns but they cost at least 500 dollars but then i came upon microwave kilns it says they fuse Glass but do they successfully anneal glass beads thanks.

Basically – No.
Annealing is the slow cooling of glass. The thicker the glass, the more annealing time is required. Microwave fusing kilns work because they result in fairly thin glass that does not build up enough strain to require much annealing and that can be supplied by the hot support plate as it slowly cools.
Much of the cost of a bead annealer is the controller that does the ramp down of the temperature. One way to save money is to manually turn down the temp at a rough ramp and to build your own box. Start here http://www.mikegigi.com/control.htm
