Pregnancy log book…?
Ok… so I’m getting near the end of my pregnancy. ( First one – possibly last ) And I’m starting to get anxious because I haven’t documented anything. I’ve always been really big on pictures writting down thoughts, ect… but the moment something huge happens to me I lose all interest. So, I’ve found this absolutely adorable handmade book online. I’m going to buy it and write my own.
In the stores they have these really cute ones with prompts. Questions like, “How did you feel when you first found out you were pregnant?” and so on. I would like to do a book like this, but pick and choose what questions to answer. So… what are some questions/prompts that you wish you had written about during your pregnancy? I’m looking for ideas to get this book going. I may just go to Borders or something and write down all the ones I like from the books, but any further imput is more than welcome! Thanks!
Here a few questions for the book;
What foods did you crave/go off
What did you like to do to bond with baby
When/how did you find out you were pregnant
What were some names you were thinking of using
What was the first item you bought for bub
How did you tell daddy and family
Who did you ask to be godmother/godfather
What was your favourite song while pregnant
What did you guess the sex of the baby was
What did daddy guess, and the rest of the family
How did you carry
Did you find out if it is a boy or girl
Add a picture of the ultrasound
Then you get to the birth page;
How long was your labour
Who was their
How long did it last
Where was it
Who was the doctor, midwide, doula or other birth support
Add babies FIRST photos
Then you can get into baby;
Babies firsts
poop
feed
smile
laugh
hiccups
tooth
foods
sitting up
standing alone
walking
running
birthday etc
Write in babies fav foods, things to do, places to go, best ‘friends’.
