Anchor Quilt
Anchor quilting needles, where to buy?
Anchor quilting needles, they are in a red package with an anchor on them and are made in England. Could you help me find these quitling needles for my grandma. A place to order them would be great!
I looked and looked and looked and could only find new Anchor needles for cross-stitch embroidery and needlepoint (*not* suitable for quilting) and Anchor needles for medical/surgical applications.
It may be possible that the quilting needles are not longer being manufactured by Anchor, or they may be marketed under another brand name.
Anyway … you need to know what size needle is desired. They range from size 8 to size 12, with 12 the thin-est/shortest.
If she doesn’t like other brands she’s seen and you can’t find Anchor quilting needles via e-Bay or similar (as part of sewing basket contents) and you don’t want to try to deceive her by putting another brand into an old package, maybe she’d at least try a *new* brand:
