Basket Lid
How do you get coffee smell out of the filter basket & lid? Vinegar,baking soda,bleach, I have tried it all.?
I have this problem with all the coffee makers I have bought. The worst smell seems to be the rubber seal in the lid. Soaking does not seem to help with all the products mentioned above. This coffe maker is the new Cusinart sold at Starbucks. Thanks for any advice on this!
It so happens that I am a coffee connoisseur. I best way to deal with the coffee smells and tastes is using denture cleaner. It works very well in decanters as well, just make sure you rinse good.
